PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy applies to the Keep on Running! watchOS app (the "App") published by Gary Waliczek / Three Day Weekend Solutions.

Data We Collect

The App uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to send a small number of anonymous, aggregated events about how the App is used. This helps us understand whether features (such as Game Center sign-in) work correctly across the variety of Apple Watch models and watchOS versions our players use. Specifically:

  • App launches (count only)
  • Game Center sign-in successes and failures (with the error code, but no personally identifying information)
  • Network connectivity probe failures (with the failure reason, but no personally identifying information)

These events do not include your Apple ID, your Game Center alias, your high score, your IP address, your device's identifier, or any other information that could identify you personally. TelemetryDeck does not use tracking cookies, IDFA, or device fingerprints, and does not require Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. For full details, see TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.

Aside from this anonymous analytics, the App collects no other data:

  • The App has no user accounts and does not require sign-in (other than the optional Game Center sign-in handled entirely by Apple).
  • The App does not use advertising, tracking SDKs, or any other analytics provider.
  • The App does not access HealthKit, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any other system permission beyond what watchOS provides automatically (the Digital Crown and touch input).
  • Your high score and per-run statistics are stored locally on your Apple Watch and never leave the device.

Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Apple Game Center on your watch, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple's Game Center service in order to populate leaderboards and unlock badges. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us. Sign-in is entirely optional — the game works fully without it.

Data Shared with Third Parties

The anonymous analytics events described above are sent to TelemetryDeck (operated by TelemetryDeck UG, based in Germany). If you sign in to Game Center, achievement and leaderboard data is sent to Apple. No other data is shared with any third party.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because the App collects no data of any kind, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by collecting no information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. If the App ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated and you will be notified within the App before any data is collected.
